One ofJamaica’s hottest young artist’s, Nakazzi is the daughter of renowned visual artist, Dawn Scott andBarbadosDr. Ikeal Tafari, Pan- Africans of philosophy and political science.
Nakazzi graduated from Sculpture department at the Jamaica School of Art, top of her year.
She has exhibited extensively both across theCaribbeanand internationally in places likeMiami,New YorkandBerlinand has been invited numerous times to participate in exhibitions at the Jamaica National Gallery.
She considers herself mainly a sculptor but her practice of art varies widely to include drawing and painting, batik paintings, murals and mosaics and ceramic masks with paints and then adorns with natural fibers and seeds.
