Royan was born in Kingston, Jamaica in 1955. Whilst growing up in the country, he was surrounded by so much natural beauty that he was inspired to record it on canvas.
In 1978, he decided that painting would become his full-time profession and he went on to further his studies at the Edna Manley School of Art.
This talented Jamaican artist has successfully captured our majestic mountains and the splendour of our flora and fauna.
His work has been exhibited extensively in Jamaica, and was included in a California exhibition of “The 10 Jamaican Masters”.
